Expecting a tutorial on how to have a blog? Better not...Before starting an online business, any decent marketer/webmaster/SEO/ will do a keyword research. Then the whole idea starts from that point.Anyway, I'm doing my own keyword research, but just to find funny queries, like this one: how to have a blog. Well, kids, I'm overwhelmed. For a long time I hoped that people will try NOT TO HAVE A BLOG. Since the virus of blogging is so contagious, I was hoping to see people looking for the cure, I was hoping to see people trying prophylactic queries, like how to not have a blog, or how to not be a blogger. I think I was one of the few to say that the blogs are the web's rubbish, when all this started. EVERYONE was trying to gain popularity by writing a blog. There are so many blogs out there... zillions of them. There are so very few good ideas amongst them... Well you got me, I had a blog (and it will stay there until some lack of laziness will allow me to move the articles on some of my websites, and then to put that bloody domain out of its misery). I do believe that for a blog you need ideas which deserve to be shared. If you lack ideas, what are you going to do? Repack others theories? Comment others articles? Just because you've got a blog and try to keep up on updating it? Stupid indeed. I'll give you a hint on how to have a blog: be as good and clever as one of those few people who got USEFUL blogs, share some of the value of your thoughts and then the stupid "how to have a blog" query becomes meaningless. What you read now IS NOT A BLOG. Is an experiment, a cool website, a long tail queries trap, with an anti-CSS, anti-Flash, anti-Java and Notepad-built layout. I don't have any comments script. I don't use Wordpress (or their blogging platform). I don't need it and I don't like it. (Anyway, I prefer Joomla, for my other websites, but this is another story.) (And it isn't a blog just because it isn't built with Wordpress.) Here is my friendly suggestion: cut the crap and try to forget about how to have a blog. Instead, try to figure how to have a life (even a virtual one), learn how to have value, learn how to share value. Me - I just found out how it's like when doing this and I'm really happy.
